Happy New Year :)

I know i know... It's been another month or so.

I have so much floating around in my mind to write I'm sure I'll forget most of it.

Let's start with... YAY! I'm 33weeks pregnant today! Only 7 weeks to go! My how the time has truly flown. I actually remembered to take a "belly photo" today. It normally slips my mind most weeks now that I'm further along... which is funny because now you can actually TELL I'm pregnant where as when I was all gung-ho early on there wasn't much difference haha. That's ok though. At least I'll have some for memories :)

Had tests and so far everything is looking good. Baby is head down and she is healthy from everything we can tell. No gestational diabetes. Been trying to keep up some semblance of exercise. Go for a walk with the hubby at least once a week. And lately shoveling the driveway... and by shoveling "the driveway" I mean like 1/6th of the driveway... and that takes me like an hour as I pause to catch my breath and only do small scoops so I don't over-exert myself... Don't want my pumpkin to show up before we're ready for her! And don't want to injure my ever-more-awkward self. I figure the arm and back exercise shovelling (carefully) will be GREAT for prepping to hold my little one for hours on end? :P And of course, gotta keep up with those Kegels!! haha.

We had a 3D ultrasound a week ago (it feels like so much longer haha) and the tech confirmed again that it's a girl. If it's a boy she's really bad haha. But she's been doing it for 12 years, so I'm pretty confident in her assessment. :)

(my Little pumpkin)

We are getting SO eager to meet our little girl! She's already such a blessing in our lives!

Also, SUPER excited that my brother & sister-in-law are expecting too! Our little ones will be cousins and really close in age! How super-awesome! <3 I love him/her so much already! I'm an Auntie!!! :D EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Ok... Moving along.

Been listening to Revive our Hearts podcasts on my phone (yay free podcast downloads!) and slowly catching up. It's been so great to listen to. :)

And this year is a Bible reading challenge - to read every day for the year! And I'm SO trying this - so accountability offered would be greatly appreciated! So far since I decided to attempt this challenge (about a week ago) I've kept up reading a bit of the Bible every day. Normally with my Bible app on my phone and listening to the "read through the Bible in a year" selections (the same ones I've been listening to for a year already and ALMOST 1/2 done haha. In Deut, Psalm, Isaiah & Rev). It's been really great. I've been pondering God's Word more and am eager to get to know it/Him better again! I feel rejuvinated and blessed! I'm so thankful he has given us his Word and I REALLY want to know him better. I want my life to be pleasing to Him!

I'm SO thankful that Jesus died and has redeemed me. I'm forgiven.

I want my offering of love and thankfulness back to him to be more than just coasting through life and my spirituality being stagnant and gradually backsliding. That's not love!

I'm really hoping I can REMEMBER to at least read and meditate on even one verse every day. Especially when my Little shows up and throws off everything I'm used to and my sleep is even more broken up (though at this stage, broken up good sleep sounds better than what I have been getting haha). I'm quite excited and eager for this year! God is going to do some awesome things in my life, I can tell. He is good. And I'm so excited to know him better!

I highly recommend downloading the podcasts (easily found via the itunes app with a search and they have back until Dec 28 as of today) and listening if you have the time!

I think this is a good place to stop our catching up, as the dogs are wanting to go out.
